My Debian robotics packages: the debian mobile robot made easy
I have begin to package some useful software which we use
at LABORIUS. I hope
that these can help you. I think debian can make a good platform
for mobile robot and these packages will simply enhance your experience
with debian.
Repository
I've created a repository so you can easily download the packages with
apt-get. To access it, you only need to add this line to you /etc/apt/sources.list file:
deb http://www-edu.gel.usherb.ca/broy01/debian unstable main
To access the source packages, add this line:
deb-src http://www-edu.gel.usherb.ca/broy01/debian unstable main
(I am currently in the process to add them, so they are not currently all available.)
Software list
Currently, all these packages are in their initial development. They work
for me, but they may contains packages bug. Also, not all the documentation
are included (man pages, etc.). Also, some of these may be spilt into several
packages in the future. But I wanted to get them online as soon as possible
because I think they are good enough to let you use them.
